"I have always had love and compassion for horses. As a child my weekends would be spent helping out at the local stables and that was the highlight of my week. Horses give us so much and ask for very little in return, just safety food and comfort.

It was my rather obsessive interest in Equine Bodywork that drove me to qualify as an equine massage therapist.

DISCLOSURE:
I am a Registered Equine Massage Therapist. I work within my duty of care at all times. My area of expertise is the horses muscular system and its corresponding physiological effects. I have been trained to evaluate, locate and treat muscles and muscular related conditions. I am not a veterinary surgeon and I will always recommend that a horse be referred back to its vet should I deem this necessary if its condition is outside any area of my professional field.

It really was a case of the more knowledge I gained about this fascinating subject, the more passionate I became about it. My advanced studies took me up the path of the amazing Myo-Fascial and Cranio-Sacral release therapy. The horses and ponies that I came into contact with demonstrated immense release from the restrictions and tension that they were housing and it never failed to inspire me.

I then continued my professional development by completing Jim Masterson's Advance course and I regularly incorporate these unique bodywork techniques into my treatments.

Since qualifying as an equine massage therapist I have found the work to be so rewarding. Through observing the horse's body language and reactions to the massage applications I am continuously inspired and I want to share my understandings and experiences with other horse lovers.

I now teach all over the UK and Spain."
